How I supply my API?

API – Advanced Passenger Information, is where passengers are now required to supply their passport details before departing. This is due to a new European Law.

If you fail to provide your passport information, you may be fined at check in or even banned from flying. We have put together a list of airlines who require the information and a guide on how to pass on your passport information.

The reason for having to provide your passport information is down to terrorism and immigration. European Law was passed in 2009 where all passengers have to pass on their passenger/ passport information to the airline. This information can be found at the back on your passport.

When submitting your passenger information, you will need your flight booking reservation number (not your AOH-XXXXXX booking reference), the lead passenger surname and date of travel. All of this is found on your booking confirmation.

For flights through Major travel and JTATravel, we will email you.

We are not responsible if the APIS information is not passed onto the airlines website or if you have supplied it incorrectly.
