Should I Travel To Egypt

Should I Travel To Egypt?

The answer is yes. The Red Sea resorts of Hurghada, Marsa Alam and Sharm el Sheikh have always been safe and offer sunshine and peace throughout the year.

The recent problem with Sharm el Sheikh was to do with its airport security (or lack of it) and not the actual resort itself. Many holidaymakers were annoyed by the FCO restrictions on flights to and from Sharm as all they could see was a harmonious and peaceful resort. However, safety must come first and the British government was quick to realise that airport security fell short of what is required in today’s world.

Unfortunately, it looks as if flight clearance won’t be given by the FCO until well in to the middle of the year.

The other Red Sea resorts all have more modern airports with Marsa Alam being the newest and all have the latest scanners to prevent unwanted items being loaded on any plane.

The good news (if there ever can be good news after such a tragedy) is that rates have fallen drastically for holidays to Egypt, so cash in on a bargain as soon as they open up the airport again.

The Red Sea region of Egypt is as safe as anywhere in the tourist world so do take a look at either Hurghada where a week’s holiday for your Valentine could be spent romantically at the 4-star all-inclusive Labranda Club Paradisio Hotel" or take the kids on a splashing holidays in Marsa Alam staying at the 4-star all-inclusive Three Corners Sea Beach Resort where they can slide & splash until they tire.
