St. Lucia has been a popular romantic hot sport for the British holidaymaker for the past 4 decades and still is. Located right on the Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean, St. Lucia boasts just under 100miles of stunning coastline, with some of the most breath taking beaches you will ever find.


Travellers visiting St. Lucia will find a mixed scenery from tropical rain forests to white sand beaches to the popular resorts. The Island of St. Lucia is volcanic but do not worry, the volcano’s last erupted in the 18th century. The name of the main volcano is Soufrière and is located in the south of the island. One popular attraction for holidaymaker is visiting to the sulphur springs which is right in the crater of the Volcano ‘Soufrière’ and well worth a visit.


At last count the population of St. Lucia was 174.000. St. Lucia’s culture has been built upon the influence of past French and English invasions with the architecture in particular depicting a French style with English and Caribbean flare. True to its Caribbean roots, St. Lucia is a true carnival island. The main carnival season runs from the end of May through to the end of July. If you love to witness the vibrant colours, Caribbean music and fantastic cuisine, then please make the most of visiting the carnivals. Castries shopping tour A wonderful opportunity to visit and explore the small but lively capital city of Castries whether you want to go shopping or not. Hunt for handicraft at the local craft market. Visit Caribelle Batik renowned for its colourful and beautiful silk prints and souvenir items. Stop at a local supermarket before going onto Duty Free Pointe Seraphine with an array of boutiques offering an extensive assortment of merchandise. Adrenaline zip line tour. Get hitched up to a series of cables and zip from platform to platform in the tree canopy. Swing like Tarzan or Jane and if your adrenaline isn’t flowing then - rappel to the forest floor. The Adrenaline zip line tour is not for the faint of heart. The exciting tour starts innocuously enough with a short walk through a peaceful part of the tropical rainforest, but that’s as pastoral as it gets. You get hitched up to a series of cables and zip from platform to platform high up in the tree canopy. Go out on a limb and take the leap and swing like Tarzan. If your adrenaline isn’t flowing then, a brisk hike to the next set of platforms will juice things up a bit before your guides hook you onto the line with descenders so you can rappel safely or with a thrill to base camp. All riggings are on a triple redundancy system so you never have to scrape your knee. Aerial tram tour Open-air gondolas, with a naturalist guide provide the one and only access to the upper layers of the rainforest. Ascending through the middle layer of the rain forest enjoy the fauna and flora.
